E3: Report: APB still heading to 360

Despite no mention in EA release.

APB is still on its way to Xbox 360 as well as PC, despite EA only announcing that it will be publishing the game for "PC in early 2010" at its press conference.

That's according to Team Xbox, who managed to get hold of a spokesperson for the project last night, who said: "We're not giving details out at the moment, but it is being developed for Xbox 360."

Eurogamer MMO is speaking to Realtime Worlds' Dave Jones later this week, so we'll have more on the game then, along with clarification of that platforms issue, hopefully. In the meantime, why not watch the first episode of the APB video podcast, which reveals that Realtime's office carpet is no better than ours.

Or, rather more exciting, there's the APB E3 trailer over on Eurogamer TV.

Platform announcing is a bit SPASTIC this year

I'll be surprised if the 360 version looks anywhere near the graphics quality seen in the E3 trailer, which states is done in-game. Still, I'm pumped for this. PLEASE be good!

Theres was probably no mention of it in the release as EA say they are only publsihign the PC version. MS might have some deal with them to publish the 360 version since they're quite close from crackdown.

Just glad its still coming to the 360 after seeing ruffian games making crackdown 2 as I thought RTW might be a little peeved about that .
Still, Hopfully by the time apb comes out and they've supported it for a while MS wll get them back to do another crackdown of their own again.

Didn't effectively MS pinch loads of staff from realtime in order to make Crackdown 2?

Maybe they are not on good terms?

I dont think MS took the staff from RTW, a few just left to form their own company and since MS owned the license to crackdown and RTW are busy they decided to go with these guys as some of them actually worked on the original.
I would think they are still on good terms, they might just be disappointed they didnt get to make the second since MS didnt want to wait until they finished APB.
