Call of Duty 1 soon on PSN, XBLA
List of Achievements appears.
The PSN and XBLA release of the original Call of Duty may be just around the corner, judging by a freshly-discovered list of Achievements.
They popped up on Xbox360Achievements (via Kotaku) and span 12 rewards totalling 200 Gamerpoints.
The game, remember, will be free with the pricey Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2, which costs £120.
Otherwise, a date and price for Call of Duty on XBLA and PSN are not known.
We do remember what the original Call of Duty was like, however. Head over to Kristan's analysis from 2003 for a trip down memory lane.

And still you will be cheaper off buying the normal edition and this separately. As a bonus, you don't have to store that ridiculous device.

Perhaps you should take the Samus Test

I'd love to see the PC version get an update (yeah right, like that'll ever happen!).... At least to include widescreen support (1680x1050) and sort out that stuttering problem I have (COD2, COD 4 and COD:WAW are all smooth experiences for me)

I wondered about buying COD2 for XBOX360 after loving the game on PC, but really the controls work fine on a gamepad. Basically the aim down sight has a built in help to nudge you onto target.
No, after replaying COD1 on the PC recently, my concern is how many points there are where you can very quickly die, eg if you do not destroy RPG-equipped enemies when travelling in a vehicle. It's trickier than the later games, I feel.
I'll still probably buy it , of course.

"Relive the original Call Of Duty experience in HD"
That could mean anything really, so we will have to wait and see.

COD Classic (the real name of this xbla/PSN game) IS the PC version updated and including widescreen support. So yeah its happening.

Must say those achievements don't look too hard, aside from the difficulty one.

Looking at £64.99 - £69.99 retail.
