Borderlands Knoxx DLC delayed
Out tomorrow on 360, says Gearbox.
Update: Xbox 360 owners will have to wait until tomorrow to play Borderlands add-on The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
"So looks like the new Borderlands DLC will be hitting tomorrow after all," Tweeted XBL community leader Graeme Boyd, pointing to the GeneralKnoXX Twitter feed.
The PC and PS3 release on Thursday is unaffected.
Original story: 2K has announced that The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, the third instalment of Borderlands DLC, is due out this week.
Xbox 360 owners will be able to grab it today, in fact, for 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80 / €9.60), while PC and PS3 owners can access it on Thursday for $9.99.
General Knoxx ups the level cap, and promises new enemies, guns, items and locations. It will also be accompanied by a patch detailed on the official forum.
Look out for our review of General Knoxx soon, and in the meantime why not check back on our Borderlands review, or our reviews of previous DLC packs The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned and Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot?

Really looking forward to this, I'm enjoying it just as much on second playthrough so extra content will (hopefully) be tops!!!

Curse you Gearbox, I wasn't expecting it to be out this soon.

Zombie island was my favourite piece of DLC, so hopefully this will wash away the bad taste that the last DLC left in my mouth...
Didn't realise it was out so soon!

I am a slow gamer, and have not even finished the core game yet. Working on it tho.

Haven't gotten the first two yet as none of my co-op buddies have bought them, hopefully there'll be a bundle release that will coax them into the investment.

I'd usually agree with you but not in this case. BL is a big game already and the DLC, in 2/3 cases, has added a lot. Probably more than could have been fitted on a DVD.

That's a ridiculous statement, this is obviously not desgined to be in the game to begin with. People should learn to see shades of grey. Just because a few devs/publishers take content from a game for DLC - Namco, Capcom I'm looking at you - doesn't mean everybody does.

Check out the PSN or XBL Arcade, you'll find quite a few games on there for less than £6.80 that will give you hours of entertainment.

And by the way, how the hell are they going to include content which was created after development on the game proper was finished on the disc? A disc which already has a very lengthy (by today's standards) campaign on it already? Fools.
Finaly a developer puts some effort into DLC and people bitch about it.
