Alienware revises WoW PCs
Epic loot. You could win one, too.
"Horde or Alliance? You decide," says Alienware, suggesting that the PC manufacturer certainly got as far as the character tool when it was putting together its epic new Warcraft edition PCs - ten of which it's giving away for free.
The special World of Warcraft Area-51 7500 rig is available in blue or red (sorry, Alliance or Horde) and features an Intel Core 2 Duo E6700, dual 640MB GeForce 8800 GTS graphics cards, 2GB of PC-6400 DDR2 memory, a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card and a 500GB SATA hard disk.
It's probably enough to run some games on, you're thinking, and Alienware's Mat Bettinson tells us that the machines have been "specifically tweaked" to get the most out of World of Warcraft. Each comes with a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium, too, which ought to see you through the next few years of beefy DirectX 10-enabled PC games, like Crysis.
Obviously they're quite expensive, but no matter, because you can win one - or a GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card - by going to the WoW website and entering the competition. Horde FTW.

Alienware ripping people off again, what a surprise! Their cases are sexy, but the insides waaaaay overpriced.
