Has there ever been a flatter, more generic game title than Alien Rage? At least Warface has the dignity to be a bit mental, whereas CI Game's multiplatform shoot-me-do manages to send me to sleep in two short words.
Well, maybe its first person shooting and over the top weaponry pitched against hordes of angry aliens will be enough to wake me up again. Maybe not, though.
Still, cynicism aside this looks like a throwback to a simpler age when all anyone wanted to do was shoot an alien in the face, and CI definitely does that with style. You can see more if you join Ian Higton as he plays the game from 5pm BST tonight.
