Isn't this a patch on top of the existing 2012 patch?
  • brider #2 4 months ago

    No crapcom
The demands of your fans is that you stop ripping them off with countless versions of SSF4.stop bringing out stupidly priced and worthless DLC and to not turn resident evil into a gears of war wannabe.

But you dont seem to be listening to them demands at all :(

Hang about... I'm no fan, but are people really bitching about Capcom on a news story where they're supporting a game years after launch for free... Seriously??
  • MattEdWithCheese #4 4 months ago

@brider Maybe so but as far as I know, this is a free patch and Capcom just released Resident Evil Revelations which is (to me at least) my second favourite game in the series after REmake...

I find it a little amazing that they've managed to turn around SFxT so fast.

Barely seen a screen shot of TxSF. I guess they've sensibly decided to stagger the releases to allow both games to gain exposure to the maximum audience.

Either that or they really aren't sure how to put fireballs into Tekken.

Have EG pasted the same patch notes twice or am i being special?
  • Ranger101 #7 4 months ago

@brider AE and 2012 came out as a result of us fans and the Street Fighter community demanding it you moron.
Tired of the boring "blllaaaah 15million versions of street fighter whyyyyy" posts. The games exist because there is a demand from part of the gaming community. If you don't get it, they're not targeted at you.

    @BigDannyH
Namco have stated a few times that TxSF won't be worked on until TTT2 is finished, and SFxT has been out for more than a year.

No point in flooding the market.

i'm surprised they didn't try to sell another game for the patch

"we have put the last of the dlc onto the disc and have gone gold"
  • NotSoSlim #11 4 months ago

So has the Vita version of SFxTekken gone gold? PS3 vers. I can wait for price drop
  • Machetazo #12 4 months ago

@NotSoSlim I will either get Vita version (if I've decided to get a Vita itself, once the dust settles), or hold out for the PC one (though it may be a while until there's more news on it, understandably).
There's no way I'm getting another console this gen, but Vita, maybe that's a way to go. Have to wait and see.

"long awaited patch" - ffs do your research EG. The ae2012 patch came out early december. This is just a regular, common bug fix patch.
  • Eldave0 #14 4 months ago

@MattEdWithCheese - Speaking as a long-time RE fan I have to agree with that. Revelations is all kinds of awesome and easily in my top3 RE games of all time.
  • Baleoce #15 4 months ago

Yeah this is just a bug fix patch *for* 2012. Meanwhile PC users sit patiently for 2012.
