From Dust/Beyond Good and Evil/Outland triple pack spotted

Trio of Ubisoft downloadables getting disc release.

UK retailer Play.com is listing something called the Ubisoft Triple Pack, a disc-based release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 which contains downloadable games From Dust, Beyond Good & Evil HD and Outland.

All three titles were released on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade last year to glowing reviews.

Play.com lists the Triple Pack for launch on 23rd March, although Ubisoft has yet to confirm the compilation.

Priced with an RRP of Ł19.99, the Triple Pack offers a saving of around Ł4 on buying all three games separately.

We've contacted Ubisoft for confirmation of the release and expect to hear back soon.

cool idea - glad to see the cream of the digital crop getting some shelfspace. but once again, as with trials/splosion man/limbo pack, I'm scuppered in having bought 2 of the 3.

options: can either wait until zavvi does the pack for a tenner, or get it from xblm (at full price, or by getting lucky with a tidbit offer when the platform holder feels like it). boo and hiss.

@DAN.E.B What if I want inverted controls UBI???

First thing that came to my mind when I read about this: 'Hopefully UBI will patch the game to include inverted y-axis for Beyond Good and Evil'. Apparently there is a good reason for them not to be inverted (last boss fight?) but honestly I'd rather have 99% of the game play as I like and just the 1% where normal controls are actually needed feel weird to me.

I'd really love to finish this game but with every other game having inverted controls I just never got used to the normal ones.

Well worth 20. I know iOS prices have distorted the market but it's really not that much for 3 decent games.

Some of the later levels / bosses in Outland were tough. Not Super Meat Boy tough, but satisfyingly difficult.

Although I'm not bothered about a physical product, I do agree that being able to get slightly more choice in stuff like the Summer of Arcade deal would have meant I'd have bought more games. All it takes is one title you're not keen on and it puts you off the whole deal.

@-cerberus- this is a belter of an idea. pick any 3 1200pt games for 2400pts (~Ł20). or any 3 800pt games for 1800pts.
