A stretch at Ł74?

A Black Wii Fit Plus software bundle is limbering up for launch, Nintendo has announced.

Available from 7th October, the package includes a black Balance Board and a copy of Wii Fit Plus.

Nintendo hasn't mentioned an RRP, but Zavvi currently has it listed for pre-order at Ł73.85. The standard white Balance Board version currently sells for around Ł65.

Nintendo's Wii Fit expansion launched back in November 2009, scoring a 7/10 from Eurogamer's Ellie Gibson. Her Wii Fit Plus review has the details.

Wii Fit Plus is a great tool for monitoring your weight and having some fun while at it, but they really should lower the price by now.

I like the white balance board, myself. Although it does get pretty dusty under my sofa (where I store it).

I guess if you haven't jumped on the Wii Fit train and have a black Wii console this would be ideal.

Rip off. Can remember picking up the Gamecube Donkey Konga pack which had the console and bongos for ÂŁ35 back in the day and at a similar period in the consoles lifetime to where the Wii is now. Probably had a much more effective work out to boot.

I used to use my Wii an awful lot. I ought to use it again, really. I need to finish Metroid Prime and No More Heroes. And maybe have another go at Pikmin 2.
