NightSky announced for 3DS eShop
Cave Story dev's PC puzzler goes portable.
NightSky, the stylish PC side-scroller from Cave Story co-developer Nicalis, is destined for the 3DS eShop.
The developer made the announcement today on its Twitter feed, though didn't offer a release date or price.
The game, which tasks you with trying to roll a sphere through various silhouetted environments, was originally announced for WiiWare back in 2009.
However, it eventually saw the light of day on PC earlier this year, picking up a well-deserved 8/10 from Eurogamer's Kristan Reed.
"If you can break through the periodic pain barrier that comes with such exacting physics-based challenges, you'll be able to bask in the warm glow of manly gaming satisfaction. And with around six hours' worth of it to roll through, it'll put hairs on your chest," read his NightSky review.
Nicalis also Tweeted that it has another, as-yet untitled, eShop title in development. On top of that, its 3DS remake of classic indie platformer Cave Story is due out later this year.
