PS Store discounts Creed II add-ons

Plus: £32 for WWE SmackDown on PSP.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - the one what did multiplayer - arrives next week, and Ubisoft is banging its drums by discounting AC2 downloadable content.

Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities have been squashed to £2 apiece, and the Secret Locations-plus-Bonfire of the Vanities double-pack costs just over three quid.

New games on the European PlayStation Store this week are Crescent Pale Mist and side-scrolling shmup bundle Sφldner-X 2: Final Prototype & The Last Chapter, according to the European PlayStation blog.

Other things you may like: the Morpheus skin for God of War III - no not the one from The Matrix - and Bon Jovi songs for Rock Band 3.

Things you may not like: paying £32 for the PSP version of WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011.

    Oh - I'm sure they'll sell loads of PSPgo copies of WWE, eh?

    I'm sure that there's so much good will and brand loyalty amongst PSPgo owners - they probably can't wait to drop another £250 on the next PSP device, eh? Eh? EH????

    I m just noticing that EG always reports PSN store updates but not XBL or Wii much?!

    Favouritism?

    I would thunk that EG would reports all updates equally, though I m delighted to be able to read PSN updates without the need to look for the info elsewhere.

    I'm always very surprised at full price psp games. They're nearly the price of PS3 games. More than likely they're cheaper in the shops. However Phantasy Star 2 on psp is £19.99 online it's £25-£30 in the shops. Depends on if you tire of the clunky disc access noise, you pay for the convenience.

    What happened to the movierental-thingie? Filmlove or something like that? I was really looking forward to it (that is, IF it's available to all countries - not just UK/Us).

    I saw someone on my friendslist have Lovefilm under their name, perhaps you need to look at the PSN store under video?

    @GamesConnoisseur

    I think they do the PSN one as they can just copy and paste the text from the playstation blog, its like a free news post for them, i think xbla and wii would take slightly more effort, thus are only done when there really short on news.

    At the moment they have got kinect and black ops to milk!

    Just wait until removable media disappears from hand-helds completely, every game will be £32 forever.
