UK chart: Toy Story 3 still top

Madden NFL 11 touches down.

Toy Story 3 has claimed a third week atop the UK all-formats top 40 chart.

The accomplished and acclaimed adaptation of Pixar's film was de-throned to second two weeks ago by Blizzard's StarCraft II. The latter has descended to 12th.

Red Dead Redemption was second this week, followed by Dance on Broadway and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. DS game Art Academy leapt an incredible 23 places to finish fifth.

Just Dance, Dragon Quest IX, Modern Warfare 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and newcomer Madden NFL 11 rounded out the top 10.

    Starcraft II went from 2nd to 12th?

    Jeez, that's some drop-off. I'd have expected longer legs for that title.

    SMG 2 has been in the top 10 for a while now which is good to see for a ' Hardcore' Wii game, especially when Just Dance has been sticking round far too long in the top 10.

    My daughter loves the 'Round-up' mode, but some of the story levels are solid. Nothing has frustrated me / made me look more like crap-dad than that rainbow slides level. Bah!

    The recent constant ads - which make you think that only it and Dragon Quest IX exist for the DS - for Art Academy have paid off it seems... Still looks shit.

    Toy Story 3 is ace. Round up mode is still keeping me and my daughter busy.

    Thats a scary top 10, if you think about it. Casual, waggly, dancing stuff.
    RDR still in there, pretty impressive considering I've not seen any price drops.

    And, adios, Crackdown 2...

    I'm quite impressed by RDR. That's some serious Nintendo-like legs there. And it's actually outstaying SMG2.

    Seems Toy Story has got the best of both worlds- the quality to encourage the more hardcore crowd to take a gander, and the movie licence to bring in the families and casuals who would've bought it whatever!

    Toy Story 3 is actually quite good, it's like 2 games in 1. And while Story mode is average-ish, with some interesting levels, Toy Box mode is very good, it never gets old. Very, very entertaining game. And pretty too.

    Madden in top 10? I'm actually a bit surprised. I thought nobody outside America cares about it. But why in the name of God is Sniper: Ghost Warrior on the list?
