The Path dev dates next game

Based on Oscar Wilde's Salome.

The Path developer Tale of Tales plans to release its next game Fatale on 5th October.

Based around Oscar Wilde's Salome, the story follows the eponymous biblical princess who demanded the head of John the Baptist as a reward for dancing for King Herod.

Silent Hill artist Takayashi Sato has designed the character Salome, who is supposed to challenge us and confuse us, according to the developer.

Tale of Tales describes Fatale as "an interactive vignette in real-time 3D". The style will be "more naturalistic" than usual, but with an air of magic open to interpretation by the player, or perhaps more accurately, the observer.

Sounds weird, but then so was The Path. Kieron Gillen walked that road for us, so head over to his review of The Path to find out more.

There are more pictures and excerpts of inspiring creative pieces over on the Fatale website.
