Sly 4 sneaks out

Sly Cooper Thieves in Time slated for 2012.

Sly 4, a long overdue follow-on to the fondly remembered PS2 series, has been announced at Sony's E3 conference.

Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is scheduled to hit in 2012, and its announcement was heralded by a brief, pre-rendered trailer. There's no word if Sucker Punch, the developer of the original trilogy who's just shipped inFamous 2, will be involved in any way.

Sly Cooper Thieves in Time will have a presence at this week's E3, so expect more details to fulter through soon.
