SC: Conviction to get new DLC weekly

Ubisoft has announced plans to release downloadable content on a weekly basis for the Xbox 360 version of Splinter Cell: Conviction.

There are new weapons, skins and a brand new Deniable Ops map to look forward to. What's more, every piece of DLC will be free.

The deal will kick off today in the US, with players receiving a new gun - the MP7A1 Machine Pistol. Conviction isn't out in Europe till tomorrow, but here's hoping there are similar plans to offer us free DLC too.
