Saints Row dev making third-person RPG

With Guillermo del Toro?

Saints Row and Red Faction developer Volition is hiring for a third-person role-playing game Hellboy director Guillermo del Toro may be involved in.

According to a new job listing (spotted by 1UP) on Volition's web site the developer wants a design director for "a new action role-playing game".

The listing says Volition is "collaborating with a high-powered creative talent in the entertainment industry to develop this original, unannounced franchise".

Reports suggest del Toro may be the high-powered creative talent mentioned.

Earlier this week the LA Times reported THQ had signed a "big deal" with the Pans Labyrinth director.

Volition's currently working on Red Faction: Armageddon and Saints Row 3.

Expect more on this soon.
