Ape Escape 3 in development
You've finally made a monkey out of me.
Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed that a third Ape Escape title is in development, albeit somewhat unwittingly, having slipped the title onto its official release schedule during a quiet moment in the dead of night last Friday.
Of course, news of Ape Escape 3 won't come as too much surprise to some of you, as the subject was broached by - of all people - Metal Gear Solid man Hideo Kojima just recently. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, due out in the US next month and Japan in December, features an Ape Escape mode where players have to round up monkeys, and speaking at the Tokyo Game Show last month Kojima indicated that there would be some sort of reciprocation in the next Ape Escape title.
For the moment though, that's literally all we know about Ape Escape 3 - or "Saru Getchu! 3" for completists - as Sony has yet to officially announce any details or release any screenshots. We'll let you know when they do.
