Tiger Woods DS delayed

Can't find the ball.

Electronic Arts has delayed the release of the Nintendo DS version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 by nearly a month, although the uber-publisher still plans to release Madden NFL 2005 and The Urbz: Sims In The City as launch titles.

Having previously been set for launch alongside the US hardware on November 21st, now it appears that Tiger Woods 2005 will be released on December 14th in the States in order to allow for an additional spurt of development.

According to EA, Tiger Woods on the DS will use the top screen of the two to provide a traditional golfer's eye view, while the bottom screen will be reserved for an interactive course map, and applying the stylus-based swing mechanic.

We hope to be able to bring you our impressions of all that in the coming weeks as the Nintendo DS finally reaches gamers' hands.
