Namco Bandai to publish Magna Carta 2
Exclusive to Xbox 360 in Q3 2009.Namco Bandai has snapped up the rights to Softmax's upcoming Xbox 360 RPG Magna Carta 2, announced earlier this year.
The story's all-new, according to IGN, and focuses on a chap with amnesia called Juto wandering around the war-torn Lanzheim Continent getting in fights that combine turn-based and real-time elements.
There's some degree of environmental action, character-switching in battle, customisable AI routines for the others, and an upgrade system based on beating up monsters and then investing the rewards in weapons and items.
The original Magna Carta, known as Tears of Blood in the US and Europe, reputedly sold 500,000 copies worldwide.
