Irrational Games teaser website pops up

What is Icarus?

Irrational Games has teased the forthcoming announcement of its new game, codenamed Project Icarus.

The website whatisicarus.com is now up and is registered to Take-Two. Hurry over there and stare into the gloom.

Irrational has also sent out save-the-date emails regarding an event on 11th August in New York City.

Irrational Games, led by Ken Levine, has been hard at work on whatever this is since it finished with the original BioShock in 2007.

Rather than work on BioShock 2, which was put together by 2K Marin. Rumours that Levine's team was working on XCOM also turned out to be untrue. That game, previewed at E3, is in development at 2K Marin's Australian outpost.
