GSC Game World plans to unveil "several subsequent new products in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe" at the E3 Media & Business Summit in mid-July.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl overcame its tortured development cycle to reap big critical rewards earlier this year, with publisher THQ claiming it had a big part to play in its strong Q4 performance.
Nothing's known about how GSC plans to follow it up, but CEO Sergiy Grygorovych said they were very happy with the positive reaction. "We are very happy of the players' positive reaction," he said. See.
"This fills us with confidence the team is on the right track and adds us strength to go for next exciting accomplishments. It will be very soon that we present our new interesting ideas and solutions."
The E3 Media & Business Summit (yes, we're going) takes place in Santa Monica between 11th and 13th July.
