Stylish stealth platformer is XBLA exclusive.

Shank developer Klei Entertainment has just announced Mark of the Ninja - a stylish 2D stealth platformer due on Xbox Live Arcade this summer.

There's not much to go on other than a very brief gameplay clip hidden behind an old school text adventure site.

Click through the brief story and you can see the titular warrior laying a mantrap, grapple hooking around the environment and then smashing a street light to lure an enemy to his death. See below for a couple of screenshots.

Sequel to EA's stab 'em up out next month.

Shank 2, the follow-up to the OTT 2010 action platformer, launches on PC on 7th February and PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on 8th February, publisher EA has announced.

The Klei Entertainment-developed title will set you back 800 Microsoft Points or your local equivalent of €9.99.

New additions include refined controls, new weapons, improved enemy AI and a more advanced combo system.

A sequel to last year's stylish side-scrolling kill 'em up Shank arrives on PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in early 2012, publisher EA has announced.

Original developer Klei Entertianment returns, with the game's titular hero leaping back into the fray when the lives of his loved ones come under threat.

Details on exactly what it offers over and above the original are currently thin on the ground, but it seems the big new addition this time out is a new arcade-style co-op survival mode.
