One Piece Unlimited Cruise Special launches in Europe on 10th February 2012.
Namco Bandai has partnered with Nintendo to bring the Nintendo 3DS game, based on the manga One Piece, to these shores. It's a remake of Wii game One Piece Unlimited Cruise Part 1: Adventure Beneath the Waves, and includes new bonus material and the new Marineford Mode.
This allows you to take on the role of various characters in a series of one-on-one battles based on the events of the Marineford arc of the manga and anime.
Namco Bandai has reported a solid year-on-year boost in game sales, with Nintendo's 3DS affording the publisher a healthy slice of new business.
During the first quarter of the current fiscal year, software sales rose to 3.38 million compared to 3.15 million during the same period last year.
Of that total, PlayStation 3 titles contributed 657,000 sales, Xbox 360 651,000 and the 3DS 622,000. The DS added 614,000, the PSP 595,000 and the Wii a relatively paltry 199,000.
Online shop Play.com has updated with a raft of games from Japanese company Namco Bandai, including some unannounced titles.
