Nintendo DS and 3DS game Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns launches in Europe on 29th June 2012, Rising Star Games has announced.
The 3DS version of the Natsume and MarvelousAQL developed farming adventure hybrid uses StreetPass. When your console detects other 3DS players who own the game you'll receive a message and gift when you next boot up the game.
As an aspiring farmer, you'll have to choose from one of two feuding villages in which to ply your trade: Eastern-themed Konohana or European-themed Bluebell. In traditional franchise fashion, you'll then have to build yourself a home, tend to your crops, make some friends and hopefully figure out how to heal the rift between the two settlements.

The creator of farming sim series Harvest Moon has announced a new game, currently code-named Project Happiness.
Yasuhiro Wada, the father of the long-running Harvest Moon franchise, is developing the title at his new studio, Toybox.
Harvest Moon developer Natsume is also working on the game, with regular Western publisher Rising Star Games also on board.

Japanese import publisher Rising Star Games has announced a bustling 2012 release schedule for Europe, with an increased emphasis on 3DS games.
Rising Star confirmed it would handle publishing duties for five 3DS titles this year, including retro rhythm title Bit.Trip Saga and the latest Harvest Moon farming sim games.
Rune Factory Oceans, the latest chapter of Harvest Moon's spin-off RPG series, will also arrive. But the PlayStation 3 and Wii game will only launch in Europe on PS3.

Natsume has pushed back a couple of its 3DS titles to give sales of the system a chance to pick up, the publisher has confirmed.
A spokesperson for the publisher confirmed to Nintendo World Report that Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns and Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove will now launch in the US in October, despite both being ready to go.
No European date has been confirmed for Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns, though Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove is due here in November.

Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, the latest entry in Marvelous Entertainment's long-running farming franchise, is heading West.
According to publisher Natsume, the game will launch in the US simultaneously on DS and 3DS this summer.
A spokesperson confirmed to Eurogamer that the game will also come to Europe, though not through Natsume. Rising Star has traditionally handled the series on these shores, though its involvement hasn't been confirmed yet.
