Hard Reset Redux, the remastered version of Flying Wild Hog's shooter debut, will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on 3rd June.
This will mark Hard Reset's console premiere, as the original 2011 game was a PC-exclusive.
Since Hard Reset's launch, Flying Wild Hog has gone on to make Shadow Warrior and the impending shadow Warrior 2 (which looks quite promising).
Shadow Warrior developer Flying Wild Hog is bringing its formerly PC-exclusive first-person shooter Hard Reset to PS4, Xbox One and PC as Hard Reset Redux.
This enhanced version of the 2011 sci-fi FPS will feature upgraded visuals, rebalanced design, new enemies and weapons - like the Shadow Warrior-esque cyber-katana.
Hard Reset was Flying Wild Hog's first game, though many of its members emanated from Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly. It put the Polish studio on the map, allowing the team to then tackle the Shadow Warrior reboot next. The developer is currently also working on Shadow Warrior 2, due later this year.
An expanded edition of acclaimed PC cyberpunk FPS Hard Reset arrives in stores in March 2012, publisher Kalypso Media has announced.
Hard Reset: Extended Edition adds five new levels to the Flying Wild Hog-developed shooter, as well as four new enemies, a new boss fight, updated visuals, extra back-story, two additional survival mode stages and unspecified "additional gameplay elements".
There's no mention in the announcement of the extra content being made available to those who've already purchased the game via download.
