D&D: Daggerdale dev closes - report

Bedlam "effectively shuttered last month".

Bedlam Games, the developer behind recent action RPG Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale, is in the process of closing down, according to a Joystiq report.

An anonymous Twitter tipster first broke the news, claiming, "Bedlam Games - the studio formed by ex-R* Toronto blokes after The Warriors - laid off most of its staff and effectively shuttered last month."

A source close to Joystiq then confirmed that around 90 per cent of staff are currently on "temporary layoffs," and, as yet, have received no severance pay.

Daggerdale, released on PC, PSN and XBLA back in May, was the studio's only released title.

We're seeking official confirmation and will update when we have more.
