Wii outselling PS3 4-to-1 in Japan

No alarms, no surprises.

The latest Enterbrain figures have revealed the Wii is outselling PlayStation 3 by a ratio of nearly 4-to-1 in Japan.

In the four weeks ending February 24th, Nintendo shifted more than 300,000 consoles in the region - 331,627, to be precise. The figure for PS3 stands at 89,131, according to Reuters. Poor old Microsoft struggles on - 14,079 Xbox 360 units were sold during the same period.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl became the fastest-selling Wii game ever this month, with 1 million copies sold in just 11 days. Wii Fit also did well, shifting 309,311 units.
