PS Move fighting game gets a name

New title set to knock your Lights Out.

Sony has announced the official title for the PlayStation Move fighting game unveiled at this year's Game Developers Conference.

Turns out it's not called Motion Fighter after all. According to producer John McLaughlin, writing on the US PlayStation blog, the game will be called The Fight: Lights Out.

"We've conducted a ton of motion capture to ensure that every punch, every hit reaction, every dirty move and every hard-hitting knockout makes the player feel right in the thick of the action," he promised. Apparently you'll be able to "throw punches with total precision", using the PlayStation Move controller to pull of jabs, hooks, uppercuts and even a "two-handed ear drum burst".

"This is The Fight: Lights Out, and you can fight any way you want to - just make sure you win!" McLaughlin added.

A release date for the game has yet to be announced.
