Premium DLC and Demo Roundup

Live, PSN, Virtual Console, Metaboli.

Maybe you're not excited about Grand Theft Auto IV. It might not be your cup of tea. But the rest of the world is. Even Brighton is doing midnight openings and we're the least religious place in Europe, according to some sort of study that might not even exist. And we'll be there to take pictures of you ignoring sensible bedtimes to grab your copies. We might ask questions too, like which console is better? Or why? We said "thanks bruv" to a till person in WH Smith the other day. It was an accident.

Back to the matter at hand: things to buy or try on the Internet last week. This should have appeared on Friday but other things stopped it. Lost Cities was the Live Arcade offering last week and was decent. There was also downloadable content for Army of Two and Guitar Hero III on Live and US PSN - unsurprisingly the Euro PS Store is a week behind. It did finally get that Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4, though, which was a little earlier than we had been lead to believe.

We've no idea what Bishi Bashi Special is, but Tom and Kristan banged on about it on Friday and apparently this PSone gem is well worth a bash on PS3. There's flOw and Command & Conquer for PSP, too. Another big attraction is the echochrome demo on the US Store, where you can also get an Iron Man taster and Eye of Judgement expansion. There's a US demo for God of War PSP as well.

Virtual Console had NES sizzler Double Dragon to offer, alongside some C64 games Kristan probably has posters of on his bedroom wall.

Otherwise all we have to recommend is Titan Quest expansion Immortal Throne on Metaboli, because it's good.
