Nintendo is planning its usual midnight bash for the Wii launch in Europe next week.

It's all going down at HMV on Oxford Street, where Nintendo's inviting you to come down and queue up, or watch the likes of Ian Wright, Pat Cash, Ricky Hatton and Jodie Kidd playing Wii Sports.

(Football, tennis, boxing, tits, in case you were wondering.)

It'll all be kicking off at 11pm (on 7th December, obviously - don't make that mistake), but expect to be queuing for quite some time beforehand if you plan to actually buy one.

Luckily, if you do, and you're among the first 200 people buying The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, you'll also receive a special Twilight Princess tin to store the game in.
