Marvelous' new Wii titles

Harvest Moon, and Suda's effort.

Marvelous Interactive, parent to Rising Star Games, has revealed that it's working on several new titles for Nintendo Wii and DS, some of which we've heard of before. But they used the words "Harvest Moon" so we're powerless not to report.

Bokujou Monogatari - Harvest Moon - for Wii will see players use the remote control to sow seeds, plough land, cultivate crops and tend to farm animals. Frankly, other game developers, you might as well just give up now. It's over for you.

Less is said about fellow Wii title Heroes, but a quick word with the world reveals it's Suda 51 / Grasshopper Manufacture's Wii title, and is supposed to feature one of Killer 7's characters (well, personalities, presumably). Coincidentally, we just reviewed Suda's PS2 latest, Blood+.

On the DS meanwhile, Marvelous has another Harvest Moon planned, which will see you build your own island and discover characters in 3D. You can read about that and its Wii pal elsewhere on the site.

Meanwhile Rune Factory - shin Bokujou Monogatari is another title based on Harvest Moon, but it's an RPG, with monsters to fight and dungeons to explore. This is not the first we've heard of that, either.

Finally there's Luminous Arc, a real-time tactical RPG, with Wi-Fi multiplayer.
