Retail updates in the US have shed some light on their Mario Kart: Double Dash!! bonus disc, a promotion which bears similarities to the Rebel Strike promotion that furnished the yanks with playable demos and a copy of the original Star Wars arcade game.
Although the disc contents will probably change for Europe (if there is to be a European disc), it's interesting to see what's getting bundled - particularly that buyers will get their hands on bonus content for GBA RPG Fire Emblem, presumably piped to the handheld via link cable...
Of course there will be playable demos too, five in all. Five mini-games from this year's fifth instalment in the Mario Party series will be there, as will playable demos of Konami's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Factor 5's Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike (the Hoth level), and Sega's F-Zero GX and Sonic Heroes. Sonic gets perhaps the best deal (ironic for a Mario bonus disc, eh?) with two playable levels and seven short movies.
Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is due out in Europe on November 14th.
