Epic Games VP Mark Rein made an impromptu appearance on Atari's Unreal 2 board yesterday to reveal that Legend is currently beavering away on a free downloadable multiplayer component for the game, due for release... well, soon we imagine. Whether or not anybody cares enough about Unreal 2 any more to actually play multiplayer with it is, of course, another matter entirely.
The claim was made via a now-deleted LinkedIn profile.
"This means that the two largest anti-cheat services are now easily supported on Steam Deck."
