Life is Strange developer's Tell Me Why has a release date

First episode arrives late August.

Tell Me Why, the next episodic adventure game from Life is Strange studio Dontnod, will begin on 27th August.

It tells the story of twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan, who each explore the memories of their childhood in small-town Alaska from different perspectives.

As ever with Dontnod, there's an element of the supernatural involved - this time to represent the bond between the two.

Tell Me Why has been described as featuring the first playable video game hero from a major studio and publisher who is also transgender.

Published by Xbox Game Studios, it is a PC and Xbox exclusive. The game's three episodes are expected to release in relatively quick succession, beginning on that 27th August date.
