Overcooked 2 announced, coming later this summer

With new kitchens, recipes and the addition of online play.

Overcooked 2 was revealed during Nintendo's E3 conference.

There will be more characters and recipes in the co-operative cooking sequel, and kitchens that can change on the fly - such as the tease of a hot air balloon that crashes into the ground - and mechanics such as moving walkways and portals.

Expect a few more features as well, including the ability to throw ingredients and an interactive world map with new areas that open up using hidden switches.

Perhaps most excitedly, there's also the addition of online multiplayer.

Overcooked 2 is available from August 7th, and will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch for £19.99 / $29.99. Pre-ordering will give you access to the 'Too Many Cooks' DLC pack featuring five Chefs, too.
