Konami Code unlocks dinosaur in hat on Vogue website

Update: Also works on other Conde Nast sites. Clever girl.

Update: Looks like it works on other Conde Nast sites too. Try Wired.co.uk, for instance.

Original story: Dinosaurs, so named by the palaeontologist Sir Richard Owens in an attempt to evoke their size and majesty, have long been thought extinct, but internet sleuths have discovered evidence that they may not be as dead as we think. In fact, they may be lurking within the website code of popular Conde Nast fashion publication Vogue, waiting for the right moment to emerge again.

If you want to put this theory to the test, head over to Vogue.co.uk and tap in the Konami Code. You remember: up up down down left right left right B A.

"If there's one thing that the history of evolution has taught us, it's that life will not be contained. Life breaks free - it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously... I'm simply saying that life finds a way."

Never forget.
