Dragon Quest IX/Professor Layton studio Level-5 has announced an intriguingly oddball 3DS title called Guild 01.

Due for release some time in 2012, Andriasang reports that it's a compilation title comprised of four separate games from four separate creators.

Crimson Shroud is a dark fantasy RPG from Yasumi Matsuno, who produced Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story while at Square Enix.

No More Heroes creator Suda51 is contributing a 3D shooter called Kaiho Shojo which asks you to step into the shoes of a demon-slaying robot.

Air Porter is a baggage-handling sim from Yoot Saito - the veteran eccentric behind Sega's Dreamcast curio Seaman.

Finally, Rental Bukiya de Omasse is an RPG from Japanese comedy troupe America Zarigani's Yoshiyuki Hirai in which you play as a weapon shop owner.

No indication has been offered as to whether we'll see the title released on this side of the globe, but more info is expected to come out of Level-5's showcase event in Tokyo this weekend.
