The PS3 worldwide sales total now stands at 51.8 million units, Sony has revealed.

The PSP has sold 71.4 million units.

Sony revealed the numbers during its Tokyo Game Show press conference this morning.

At last count, 3rd June, Xbox 360 had sold 55 million units.

DS worldwide sales were 147.9 million at the end of July.
