Kinect beta confirmations sent out

Don't tell the internet! Oh.

Microsoft has sent out emails to people accepted into the US Kinect beta test advising them to expect an automatic system update soon and the kit in the post.

In an email obtained by Kotaku, the platform holder explained that the beta test was confidential (good start) and that the hardware would be posted to participants ASAP.

Testers will get to sample the controller, the new Xbox 360 dashboard that goes with it and new, slimmer avatars redesigned to suit the system as well.

Kinect is set to launch in Europe on 10th November for Ł129.99 including a copy of Kinect Adventures. Other anticipated launch titles include Kinect Sports, Kinectimals and Joy Ride.

Are you on the Kinect beta? Actually, you probably can't say.
