Haven canned on Cube

The game that is all games remains PS2 only

The Cube version of Haven: Call Of The King has been cancelled, it has emerged. The Traveller's Tales developed platformer was released on PS2 in November 2002, but despite a concerted multi million pound marketing campaign, failed to excite a public far too busy playing Vice City.

The game was supposed to be the first of a trilogy, but with sales so far well under the 20,000 mark for the UK, the future of the project must now be in serious doubt - especially with several suitors including Microsoft rumoured to be eyeing Midway as a potential acquisition target.

The news calls into question the fate of the planned Xbox version - but a Midway spokesman told Eurogamer this morning that no official confirmation had been received internally.
