Two more Blizzard games for GBA, including Rock N’ Roll Racing!

I'm sure you'll excuse us for frothing at the mouth in excitement, but Blizzard has revealed that in addition to its forthcoming port of Lost Vikings to GameBoy Advance, the WarCraft developer will be reviving a couple of old 16-bit SNES titles to accompany it. Blackthorne, which puts you in the role of a lethal commando facing mutant monsters and goblin hordes on an alien planet, originally appeared on PC, SNES and Mega Drive (yes, Genesis, okay Franklin).

But far, far more exciting to us is the news that Rock N' Roll Racing, originally released for the SNES, will be appearing on the GameBoy Advance in all of its relentlessly destructive glory. Cars with guns, chaps, and now, cars with guns with two-player link cable support. To those singing from the same hymn sheet, halleluiah, eh? To the rest of you - wait and see. RNR Racing was one of the 16-bit era's finest isometric racers and should make a sterling transition to Nintendo's new portable.
