Unequal opportunities at the CPL

has announced that it will be running a women-only Quake 3 tournament at its Frag 4 event, taking place in Dallas at the end of September. Sponsored by Telefragged, the tournament will feature $5,000 in cash prizes, including $2,000 for the lucky lady who wins the competition. Famous names such as Kornelia Takacs and Stevie "Killcreek" Case (probably better known for her implants than her Quake skills these days, but once rated as one of the best female Quakers around) have already signed up. There are only 24 places open for the tournament, so if you fancy your chances and are of the appropriate gender, head over to the registration site.
