When I heard the name of this new game, 'It Came For Zog', my first impression on the name was wondering were Zig and Zag (of Big Breakfast and MTV fame) not from Planet Zog? Its strange how words like that crop up again and again. Well the folks over at GA-Source have a chat with Rune Christensen the lead artist on the curiously named title. Included is some new eye candy to feast yourselves with aswell.

The developers are keeping tight lipped about what the game is about, all they will say is that It Came For Zog is an adventure game where a prehistoric character has been placed in an alien society. In short the main character (Zog), a Neanderthal warrior, is abducted by aliens. That's all they are saying. I get the impression that they are aiming for a zany Sam and Max style game with weird and wonderful twists and turns around every corner.

It Came For Zog is scheduled for an early 2001 release. Watch this space for additional details.
