    Wow, one whole person.

Again, every console gets retailer bundles if not supply restrained, especially for Xmas. Was your post just to prove that one person (who you can't even remember) wrong?!!

    What's your problem?

I'm not insulting your precious machine. Value additions are a good thing, especially because it's a high priced luxury item. It'll only be good for it in short and long term.

Jeez...What's your problem? You go on and on with your slyly negative and biased comments. You comment more in the Xbox One X thread then the people who actually like the console...lol

He didn't say you were insulting his "precious" console because there is no such thing as a precious console.

Oh my lord, please stop it. This barely-contained passive aggression is utterly obnoxious.

You can get to fuck too. I've not said anything negative about this console, sly or otherwise (and I wouldn't need to be sly, I'd just out and say it like I did with the previous). You're weirdly bitter about me not liking the original console launch and the UX that it delivered. Deal with it.

Someone was unsure about buying one a few weeks back and my advice was to wait until Black Friday or NYE sales to pick up a bundle. I was told, by two people that I forget, that it wouldn't reduce in price or receive bundles because it was so powerful and the XO Elite bundle never received a discount.

Well, I'm sure you could hazard a guess.

Wait, why am I getting involved :D Let's all just move on with our lives and agree that Halo is the bestest game.

    So what!
And it was your mission to clear that up for us all, huh?

I wasn’t “clearing anything up” for you or anyone else, I was merely calling reference to it.
I’m not sure what your problem is? For all you objections about me posting so much in here, it’s your weird vendetta that’s shitting the thread up.

Gears clearly has more value proposition than Halo. GTFO

I question the value of your proposition!

No, I don't know what I mean either!

My One X seems to be dead. It powers in but I get no video signal regardless of cable or TV I hook it up to. Great. Used it for about 10 hours since I got it. Old Xbox lasted a few years solid...

This is not an example of good value proposition.

I think it was mentioned earlier in the thread that some have been noted as having poor soldering on one of the chips. If you get one it will die basically immediately.

On the plus side, shouldn't be an issue getting a replacement.

Wow - really? Piss poor QC for something being pushed as a premium console. I can actually connect to it remotely with my laptop so must be the HDMI which has died.

All electrical have an "acceptable" amount of failures, nothing is perfect. It just sucks when you get one of them.

Right. after Xmas I can get an xbox one x. The only thing stopping me jumping on board is the lack of vr, mixed reality etc. I have psvr and I love it. So make it happen Microsoft please. And I'll buy your console.

Isn't there an xbox equivalent of ps4 12 deals of xmas deals? I know there was black friday sale, but was hoping for some dirt cheap deals on some of the older stuff i've missed, as been away from xbox scene since x360.

Yep. Whilst there are a few stories of faulty X1X consoles, it's far from a red ring of death level debacle and seems more in line with typical electronic failures.

You can't judge your own experience to equate to everyone's, but I've found it to be one of the most impressively engineered consoles I've ever owned. It's small, solid feeling and incredibly quiet.

Strange to see Microsoft have no interest in putting vr on Xbox when you see the success Sony are having.

@superbob85 Probably, new VR and/or mixed reality PC solutions will be compatible with X, we'll see. Keyboard and mouse support is being considered already.

@Pierre2k My X is silent and reliable too, even running discs. I don't have a single complaint yet.

I imagine VR will use an existing device. They probably don't want another Kinect mess on their hands.

They really don't want wires as an obstruction - they want a seamless experience.
I had a chat with someone that works in the their AR/MR dept. (whatever they call it) a couple of months ago.

Fucks sake. Took the day off. Thought I would put the Xbox one X on. Loads of updates.

Yeah thinking about it I can see Microsoft reluctant to commit to VR after the kinect experiment mistake.

As long as it has wires, it isn't really good for casual console gaming.
