Transformers DLC coming this summer
New characters, maps, difficulty level.
Activision has announced that it plans to release downloadable content for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this summer for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The upcoming pack, put together by developer Luxoflux, promises ten new multiplayer characters (including G1 Starscream and Sideswipe), three new multiplayer maps, and new single-player characters on both the Autobot and Decepticon sides.
On top of that you'll get an Expert difficulty level with new leaderboards, and there will be new Achievements and Trophies to earn.
You can see how Starscream and Sideswipe appear in-game in our Transformers DLC gallery.

It's as buggy as hell on my system. It starts up with a gamma setting that is way too high giving the game a washed out look that cannot be fixed via the in-game setting. Lots of other people have the same issue too according to the forums. Not only that but AA only works if you set the detail level to LOW, it doesn't work on High which is totally retarded seeing as AA is demanding so isn't recommended if you have to set the detail to low in the first place!
IMO, this is the worst kind of lazy, half-hearted console port that PC owners thought they'd seen the last of! I contacted Activision support about these issues over a week ago and, surprise, surprise, have yet to receive any reply from them. They have my money now so why should they care... right?
Serves me right for buying it I suppose. Even if you ignore the issues the game is still very, very mediocre.

probably because it's a port of a lazy, half-hearted console game.

Sometimes I envy the amount of games you have money and time to buy and play, but not today

Transformers: RotF though was a huge, huge mistake but, fortunately, I don't make too many of those.
