Spyborgs given September date News

Wii News by Robert Purchese

20 July, 2009

Capcom has announced a 25th September date for Wii exclusive Spyborgs.

That's the co-operative beat-'em-up we told you about earlier in the year. In it you pick from one of three Spyborgs - robust robot, nimble ninja, gruff gunner - and smash your way through hordes of baddies and screen-filling bosses.

Mini-games that span rhythm action and on-rails shooting are interspersed with the action, as are puzzles and interactive cartoon cut-scenes.

Spyborgs may appeal most to a younger crowd, but slick presentation and fast action may ensnare old grouches along the way.

Our Spyborgs gamepage has much more.

This game actually looks really nice (yes, I even mean visually!!!). Might be good fun for some co-op with a flatmate. Or just to help make me feel that my Wii wasn't a complete waste of money when I bought it at launch :)

IGN have been following this recently and been saying some pretty good things about it, I'm still not quite sold myself, but you never know.
