Senko no Ronde in May
Japanese shooter for X360.
Ubisoft's latest release schedule has revealed it will be bringing Wartech Senko no Ronde to European shores in May.
The Xbox 360 shooter pops you up against increasingly enormous bosses in a beat-'em-up-style versus battle. The only difference being that you are a spaceship, rather than a person, and you use laser beams and missiles instead of karate chops and Van Damn spin kicks.
It launched back in August across Japan and has received strong reviews.
Unfortunately Ubisoft was unavailable to tell us any more about the title, but we expect all of the features of the Japanese version will make it to Europe, including mutliplayer head-to-head.

Looks like a good concept with some flashy visuals, so colour me interested. I wonder what the soundtrack might be like, though?

Actually, I'm fairly sure it's a retail release.
Having seen the footage that [M] linked to (thanks!) I'm still interested, but I seriously hope there's going to be a demo. I'm concerned it might be too easy atm (selectable diff?) but I just really want it to be fun to play. A demo would help this a lot, I think.

EDIT: If anything, it's more like a blend of Virtual On and Ikaruga than it is ZOE

And Rohow, you're right. Actually, just give us the Treasure all-stars. We got Symphony of the Night. That proves to me that anything is possible. Any machine that lets me play Ikaruga, Silhouette Mirage, Radiant Silvergun, Guardian Heroes, Bangai-O, Sin and Punishment and Gradius V would be... mind-blowing. We know that Treasure is developing a new shmup for the X360, so... please? Pretty please? With a cherry on top!
And Zuiyo, you're right about Piņata, but... Damn, the other one's pun-tastic!
