Cheaper and longer than first game.

Developer Hothead has said the second episode of the Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness series will be released next Wednesday, 29th October.

ALERT: this is one of the Eurogamer Expo days. Massive conflict.

Episode Two will be downloadable from Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 MS Points (GBP 10.20 / EUR 14.40), or from the Greenhouse digital distribution service for PC/Mac priced at USD 14.95 (GBP 7.50).

This foray into the 1930s-inspired adventure-RPG ventures into the insane world of Arcadia, and brings with it lengthier gameplay, completion tracking and safe or insane difficulty levels.

Characters from Episode One can be carried over, too, or you can simply start afresh.

The first episode wasn't that good and is still overpriced, surely they need to sort that out before they can expect follow-up episodes to do well.

Agreed. This would be a good time to lower the price of Ep1 or do a deal for both Ep's in one pack.

The first one was intriguing, but the combat system didn't seem to stand out from the likes of Eternal Sonata or similar enough. The custom character was a good idea, but was sadly spoiled by the fact that you had to create them in the 3D view despite you only really picking out the details in the 2D dialogue bits. I also would buy both for 2000 points.
