New TOCA 3 trailer

Zooms onto the Internet.

Codemasters has released a new trailer for forthcoming PC, PS2 and Xbox title TOCA Race Driver 3 - and it's now available via the official website.

There's still a while to wait till the finished game hits the shelves, though, as it's currently down for a February release. But by the sounds of things it should be worth waiting for: you can expect 35 different motorsport genres, 100 championships, everything from vintage classics to cutting-edge cruisers and some of the most famous tracks in the world.

Can't help feeling that this has missed the boat slightly, what with there not being a 360 version.

Forget about the 360, have you seen the graphics for this game, they're pretty good. Only now are developers starting to squeeze out the true power of current gen, and suddenly the next gen is forced upon us.

TRD2 was the best racer of the last gen, or at least the best online one, and I guess TRD3 will be as well.

I agree about the online part.

    Only.

I've been losing interest in the series. The game has never been quite as good as it was on the PSone, which had TOCA World Touring Cars and TOCA 2, both games extremely good in their own ways. I have played both games on PS2, but they're still not quite as fun as their older brothers.

Have they decided to put the BTCC back into the ToCA games yet? If they haven't I'll just stick with Live For Speed for online play I suppose.
