Sonic Rush DS details
Yes, you'll need that stylus
Some new details of forthcoming DS title Sonic Rush have been revealed by Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream - including news that the game will feature special "trick action" bonus rounds.
These will involve using your stylus to touch a series of number keys within in a strict time limit, and will look a bit like the special stages in Sonic 3 - you'll drag Sonic left and right to collect rings, whilst steering clear of those pesky spikes.
As we reported back in May, Sonic is getting a new sidekick for his first DS outing in the shape of Blaze the Cat - and you can play as her if you like. There are plenty of NPCs to meet, too, and many of them will offer you a helping hand where needed.
Sonic Rush will also feature a "Zone Map" which, judging by the Nintendo Dream screenshots, is reminiscent of the map in Super Mario Bros 3. And although the game mainly takes place in 2D you can expect 3D bosses, which you can fight from all angles. Sonic himself is modelled in 3D, too.
Sonic Rush is due out later this year.

Best platformer of the year? So far, HELL YES! Although fair warning that while it;s a great game, compared to Aria of Sorrow it does compromise on a few things... which is a bloody shame.
Still, Dawn of Sorrow "rocks socks" - so says my brother, who "borrowed" my DS over the weekend. When I get my hands on him...

Mario did 3D much better, and while I really didn't care for Super Mario Sunshine, I like Mario64, which will be one of the first games I'm buying for my Nintendo Revolution (and initially, I suspect one of the most popular downloads too, along with the Zelda games).

All you ever do is pop up in comment threads and say how much whatever the news is about sucks. You're an attention-seeking moron.
