Lumines coming to iPhone

Plus price drops on 360 and PS3.

Q Entertainment has revealed that it's to release its hypnotic musical block-puzzler, Lumines, for the iPhone, reports 1up.

The iPhone and iPod Touch version of the game - featuring brand-new skins and music - will form part of a big Lumines marketing push starting late this September.

Q will also be dropping the price of Lumines Live on Xbox Live Arcade and Lumines Supernova on the PlayStation Network, and re-releasing Live's Genki Rockets skins and Supernova's holiday pack.

Expect all of this Lumines goodness to turn up in late September or early October.

I should break this out on PSP again. It made some wonderful sounds last time I played it.

Love the game, but I wonder how it'll control on the iPhone. Dedicated rotation buttons presumably.

I love Lumines too but the Xbox d-pad makes it almost unplayable.

@ ardamillo, on the 360, use the analog stick all the way, not the d-pad!
i still play this regular, bougth it when it came down from 1200 to 800, and it's been the best money i ever ever spent on a XBLA game.
i really hope the expansions get some price cuts.. i'd buy them for sure!!
i did get the rockin holiday pack but that was all.

Lumines Live on XBLA was always a giant ripoff at the old price, 1200 points for a game that wasn't even fully featured and instead forced you to buy additional modes and themes (even ones already available in the PSP versions).

I grabbed it at a discount and still felt very ripped off. Definitely not buying a single product from this company ever again.

been put off buying it on 360 even though i love it on psp, due to the fact it cost me a fiver on psp but they want well over that just for one game mode on 360,

Bundle it all together and sell it for 800-1200 and youve got yourself a deal baby
